The story of Godavari

Godavari began with a simple belief: that the food of South and Western India deserves a home as layered as its history.
Named for the river that has nourished Andhra, Telangana and Maharashtra for centuries, Godavari — The House of Heritage Experiences — brings those three culinary worlds under one roof in RR Nagar, Bengaluru. Not as a single restaurant, but as a house — five floors, each with its own name, its own mood, its own reason to visit.

Why “The House of Heritage Experiences”

We didn’t want to build a restaurant. We wanted to build a house you return to — for the everyday and the once-in-a-lifetime alike. A morning coffee at Ghat. A milestone dinner at Gauthami. A wedding at Utsav. A quiet night at Nivas. A toast at Aakash. Different reasons, one address.

The River, The Cuisine

The Godavari flows through the heart of three states, and so does our menu. From the fiery depth of Andhra, to the soulful comfort of Telangana, to the earthy warmth of Maharashtra — every dish honours where it came from, prepared pure vegetarian, without compromise.
